Is it possible that this show is going so far is to reference cut content from Fallout new vegas?
I saw some speculation regarding the end credit of episode 5. Have the camera pans out, you can see a pod that looks just like the one that contains House’s body in Fallout New Vegas. However, instead of being in the basement like the pod in game, this pod is in House’s penthouse overlooking the strip. The pod has a bullet hole in it, and there’s a dead arm poking out.
I’d link a pic, but I can only find ones from Reddit or Instagram neither of whom wants to let me copy the image URL directly. Just search for “fallout season 2 episode 5 end credits” and you’ll find it.
The consensus seems to be that this is House, and his pod was moved for dramatic effect.
However, I saw that there is a cut questline called “A Cyber Affair” where you digitally “sleep with” House by going in a separate pod, and that pod was in fact up in the penthouse of the Lucky 38, at least based on the Uncut New Vegas A Cyber Affair mod which restored this quest using files from the original game. There are videos of the quest on YouTube; I’m not sure if that second pod is there without the mod or not.
