Family Guy Movie

Family Guy presents Stewie Griffin The Untold Story.
Not quite a full length movie, but 83 minutes. Sorry if y’all know about this already, but I just found out about it. Watched about half of it last night – it’s pretty good!

Anyone seen it? Reactions?

[ SENTENCE DELETED BY MODERATOR ]

You got the smiley wrong, it should look like this

Oh and I forgot to add that within the first 5 minutes, Lois is dropping F-bombs!

Yeah, I obtained it (and that’s all we’ll say about that) and watched it. I was mostly unimpressed. Yeah, some funny jokes here and there, but overall, I give it a B-. It’s nowhere near as good as the first few seasons.

And what say ye about the current season?

So it is R-Rated, huh?

It’s direct-to-DVD, so there is no need for submission to the MPAA ratings board. There are a few explitives, but nothing extreme. Supposedly there will be a secondary audio track on the DVD which will be a bit more raunchy.

I liked it for what it was, basically an extended TV episode.

So it is “R-Rated”, huh?

In the TV vernacular it would be something like TV14-SLDFV, with an addition of LDSTWF (Lois Drunkenly Says The Word “Fuck”).

We laugh, but in a world where our very safety is measured by an 5 pack of Crayola, that rating might just take hold!

I’ve seen it twice so far. It’s just a very long episode–actually, 3 episodes put together–but it’s still good. I’ll give it a B+.

It has a few interesting cameos. In the Deep Space Nine cutaway, that’s the real voice of Odo (Rene Auberjonois).

I really liked the red carpet scene. Mostly cause there was a drunk Lois, bent over, tellig Peter to get on.

Oh, and Ollie Williams (blackie weather forcast) was great.

Tom Tucker: I don’t know how to check my email from home.

Ollie: Did you set your TCP/IP settings?

Tom: Yes, Ollie.

Ollie: Enable cookies?

Tom: Yes, Ollie.

FV (for Fantasy Violence) is a descriptor that only is used on TV-Y7 rated shows. Unless that “F” also stands for “fuck.”

Can we not run lines on a product that hasn’t come out yet?

The link is to Amazon.com and legitimate purchase, so I’m leaving it.

However, since the product is not yet legally available, I’m closing this thread. Illegal file-sharing is NOT condoned by the Straight Dope Message Board, and in fact even discussions of illegal file-sharing are not permitted. THE CHICAGO READER does not want people to steal their material, and therefore we do not permit discussions about stealing the works of others.

Theft is theft. I’m sure it’s much cheaper for you to steal (especially if you think there’s a low risk of getting caught), but it’s still stealing.

Thread done until the film is legitimately available.
