To the rest of the people that are wanting to melodramatically make a mountain of a molehill about food waste: … its NONE of your business. Just because it disgusts you or makes you feel that its a waste of money, it doesnt give you the right to pacify yourself by getting involved, NEWSFLASH: the world does not revolve around you… People like Christy… I wouldnt want to be in her shoes if she excercises what she says about actually TELLING other parents how to raise their children if she feels their lacking in doing it themselves. This is not Africa, its AMERICA (home of the free), not a nation dictated by nosy neighbors. Chances are that Christy would get physically attacked by the chastized parent. My daughter who is very independent in her parenting would definitely be letting Christy know not to butt in, in a physical way.

Could very well be but he told this story many years ago (around 15 years ago), named the restaurant at the time and it was backed up by the other person supposedly told to leave. Also knowing these two guys they very well could have eaten the place out of chicken wings.

The comedy bit is older… and added details to make it sound more real are of course part and parcel to any good story.

The “you go home now” part very clearly shows it as a rip off though.

We need another version of Godwin’s law, relating to the probability that any sufficiently prolonged discussion will end up dragging in gay rights or abortion. Bonus points if you manage to gratuitously introduce both in the same sentence. :rolleyes:
