When I first heard they were making a Fargo TV series, I fully expected it to be terrible.
It was great. And each subsequent season has been just as good. I have no reason to think they’ll not keep producing at a similar high level. Looking forward to it.
I think the third season came in for a bit of stick, but it was interesting, and if the first two seasons hadn’t been such wonderful crazy bloodbaths, I’d have gotten more respect. I’d dismissed the idea of a fourth season, a bit like any future George RR Martin books of interest, so quite happy that it has appeared. I’ve made my peace with GRRM though.
I very much enjoyed the first 3 series, it benefits from having a nice clear story arc for each series, it knows what it is setting out to achieve.
So I’m in, looking forward to number 4.
Specifically, with the Kansas City mafia, which has been referenced in earlier seasons, correct?
3rd season wasnt quite up to the first two, but still solid.
I thought Season 2 was by far the best so far, so I hope it’s more like that. I thought Season 3 was a little self-indulgent in its silly digressions, but I thought Ewan McGregor and Carrie Coon were very good.
Can’t wait! Thanks!
Sorry, gotta wait a while longer…
