Not counting time at college, my three siblings all live in eh same area we grew up. One of them lives within 5-10 miles. (My oldest sister was born in California but lived there for less than a year.)
I’ve lived in Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, and New Haven. So Boston-Chicago with 982 miles of driving on I-90 is my distance. Unless you count the two months I lived in Vancouver. Then it’s 3181 miles mostly via I-90 and I-94.

You’ve never lived farther away than that? Color me impressed!
10,565 miles, using the Great Circle Mapper between the two principal airports. It’s actually a few miles more but I’m not quibbling.
Wow!
Lots of San Diego (at one time or another) people.
I’m impressed!

I moved from my hometown in West Texas to northern Thailand when I was in my 20s, but while I enjoyed living in the North, I can’t say I ever thought of it as “home.” But Bangkok is definitely “home” to me now, so that’s west Texas to Bangkok. Plus I also came to think of Honolulu as home during my years there, as I did Albuquerque. So my four “homes” in my adult life have been West Texas, Albuquerque, Hawaii and Bangkok.
2,400 miles according to MapQuest between my current home outside Boston, MA and my place in Salt Lake City, Utah when I was a grad student there.

Well, it depends on the route taken, I guess. One direction, it’s about seven hundred miles. Go the other direction, and it’s about 24,201 miles.
Is that driving distance, or as the crow flies?
I’m 6.68 miles from my childhood home via giant catapult, but 10.5 by car.
That’s a relatively easy one for me: San Diego, CA and where I currently live. I was in the navy from 1989 - 93. Actually, if you count the time I was in boot camp then it would be from where I currently live to Orlando, FL.
