For some reason, I have recently become interested in boredom. I have a couple of questions about this pertinent topic.
Is there a patron saint of boredom?
Do other mythologies have gods, devils or demons of boredom?
Considering that boredom is a pretty serious punishment (ex. solitiary confinement), was there a plane of hell or some other infernal afterlife where people were condemned to be bored for eternity?
You might try a search on acedia or the demon of noontide.
