Done, and done.
WAIT!
I want more household tips. I’m only a namesake, you know!
Well, I could stop over at your place, and help to reconfigure your nice-fitting Levi’s for you.
[sub]Uh, Coldfire IS in Europe right now, isn’t he?[/sub]
How do you know about my nice-fitting Levi’s?
Yes, he’s in Europe.
Don’t look out your window now, Uke. I might be closer than you think.
My mom has a couple simple denim A-line skirts – I think she got them at Lane Bryant.
Hmmm. Lane Bryant. Well, it was only a matter of time.
I don’t think Lane Bryant would work for you, Eve. From what I’ve seen, you’re just too small. Sorry.
I have one! Are you a size 5? What’s it worth to you?
Is this what you’re looking for? Levi.com had a bunch of nice denim skirts–everything from band-aid sized to “this one comes with a tent pole” sized
Ahhh, if only you knew what it would be worth to me to be a size 5 again . . .
Do you sew, Eve?
You might try a Simplicity pattern, maybe?
I couldn’t think of a way to add “But I don’t know if you’re in their size range” without making it sound like I thought my mom’s a whale (which she’s not).
Sorry about that–I didn’t mean to come off sounding so rude. I am in the Lane Bryant size range and do make the occasional joking comment about it and I just didn’t stop to think that I might have offended anyone–so I apologize if I did.
And since I did the search at levi.com, I ended up buying the long denim skirt–I love levis.
Well, I’ve arried at a solution, I think: I have two horribly unflattering denim skirts, one in red and one in blue. They’re mid-calflength flared skirts and make me look like a whale that’s just eaten Elizabeth Tayor. So I’m taking them to my Little Dressmaker tomorrow and having her re-do them.
I got a groovois denim skirt at H & O - well, it’s the faded denim variety, but they may have others!
I’m having trouble imagining that.
