A lot of Dopers go to Fathom when The Dope is down. When I go there now, I get a can’t-find-server message.
I just tried and also got a “can’t be found” message.

I dunno what’s up. I emailed Catz but she’d been away visiting family all weekend and had no clue either.

Yet another in the ‘when I first read this thread title’ series…
…I immediately thought of fathom as a measurement of distance, and wondered if the OP was talking about it only being used to measure distances down under the surface of water, like “Full fathom five thy father lies…”
