In the movie Notting Hill, Julia Roberts played actress Anna Scott who stars in a SF movie “Helix” and a sequel “Double Helix”. Has anyone, in fanfic perhaps, expanded on this? Firstly, Roberts looked hot in costume; and secondly any SF film with a “psychopathic flesh-eating robot” couldn’t be any worse than, say, Saturn 3

Helix was only so so, It came on after that new episode of Exposé last week(great show BTW).
While I am unaware of any fan fiction for Helix, there is another faux Sci-Fi movie titled *The Helix… Loaded*. OK, so it was released in 2005 to actual theaters, so it might not be “faux”, but I also hesitate to call it a “movie”. While it doesn’t star Julia Roberts, it does feature Vanilla Ice in the lead, so there’s that.
