Favorite Catalogs?

Here is our last thread on favorite catalogs. A wonderful threat for those of us who do not get US junk mail. So what are your favorite catalogs (and even web sites) for me to imagine getting?

I’ve had the interesting experience of living at my university’s Catholic Student Association house this year. We get church supply catalogs. They’re bizarre and amazing (I’ve seen a couple transparent plastic lecterns that could easily be transformed into fish tanks…our minister says that wouldn’t be reverent though). I will miss flipping through the catalogs when I move.

I get a lot of window-shopping mileage out of Pottery Barn.

I get the one for Fire Mountain Gems on a regular basis and it makes me drooooool. I love making jewelry.

I like getting Signals, Wireless, Britannia, and Design Toscano.

Also The Noble Collection, for having really cool, expensive stuff that I don’t think I’d ever actually buy, but I enjoy the notion that other people buy it. Like Aragorn’s sword Narsil, or Voldemort’s Wand.

Mmmm, Levenger. That’s all I gotta say.

Well, and the few catalogs that have women’s golf clothes.

Bud Plant Comic Arts Catalog is amazing!

Comics!
19th Century Illustrators!
Comics!
Artists!
Comics!
Mucha!
Did I mention comics?

American Science and Surplus

“Things You Never Knew Existed” and “The Lighter Side” from Johnson Smith Company, which also advertises their wares in the back of comic books.

The ones my mom always got: Lillian Vernon and Miles Kimball.

This is truly a marvelous catalog. Just reading the descriptions is a lot of fun.

This is my favorite catalogue also. I wish they came more often… but with how much I spend its a good thing they only show up a few times a year.

Edible Landscaping

Wow, I had no idea Pottery Barn had so much stuff (home office and so on). All of it over priced. Even worse, Levenger. Wonderful catalog. Just the thing to take to your Third-World carpenter to say “Here make me one of these.”

Sometime I love living outside the US.

I like Newport News . I’ve purchased a great deal of clothing from them over the last decade. They’re affordable and trendy (if you like that sort of thing). I do have my own style but occasionaly like to follow the herd.

Archie Mcphee!

Newport News is blocked by the Proper Authorities. I feel so protected.

It’s good that you’re protected from the ankle length skirts and thick terry cloth bathrobes. At least someone is thinking of the children. :smack:
