Favorite Jackie Chan film?

Dragons Forever is the best in my view. Where else can you see Jackie, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Biao duke it out with the world-famous kickboxer Benny “The Jet” Urquidez?

Dragons Forever and Drunken Master 2 are probably tied at number one for me for the fights.

Project A and Police Story are close because of the stunts.

Twin Dragons is a good all around action comedy from him. Followed closely by Rumble In the Bronx, and maybe Operation Condor as long as it’s not the shortened US version, how dare they mess with that near perfect wind tunnel sequence!

Another vote for Drunken Master 2. Many fun scenes, but the one where his mother throws him bottles of booze as he’s fighting off a group of bad guys is worthy of mention.

I went through a jackie chan/martial arts phase and have a million martial arts movies all on dvd but I cant choose a fav jackie chan film but some of my fav are who am I,rumble in the bronx, snake and crane arts of shaolin, snake in eagles shadow, drunken master, master with cracked fingers, 1st strike , mr. nice guy, shanghai noon, the accidental spy , supercop, and a whole litany of others I could never name them all

Has anyone ever seen Feng yu shuang liu xing - The Killer Meteors? It was kind of funny, in a really absurd way.

1)Crime Story
2)Drunken Master 2
3)Project A

The others I more or less grew out of, and everything since DM2 (that I’ve watched) pretty much sucks.

Drunken Master 2 is a whole movie of nothing but 5 different “drunken” moves. The entire final fight was made up of maneuvers we saw during the first drunken fight. Drunken Master had less drunken boxing, but it was in all a more competent kung-fu film. Still, I think I prefer Who Am I?

I really enjoyed Drunken Master 2 a hell of a lot. The fight scenes were really great, and the film quality was pretty decent as well

I really like Police Story, because it was the first movie I saw where the female character actually got beat up. In most American action films I see, if a woman’s in a fight with a man, she takes one, maybe two hits and either ends up unconcious, or smashes him in the head with something and fight’s over. In this one, the goons just kept hitting her, and she kept hitting back, and I found that rather interesting. Plus, the fight in the mall was excellent.

I gotta say, though, City Hunter was a damn fun movie, mainly for it’s increadibly humorous and anime-esque style. Watching Jackie Chan dressed up as Chun Li from Street Fighter II battling a guy dressed as Ken was just insane. Sad that that ten minute fight was 1000 times more acurate to the game than the actual Street Fighter Movie.
