I can’t believe it took me this long to get into serious mashups–as in, bits ripped out of lots of different songs, not two albums cleverly spliced like the Grey Album–since I was a bit of an amateur mashup maker back in high school. But I just now downloaded my first proper mashup album, Funky Mash-Ups, with A plus D, Loo & Placido, the Kleptones, PartyBen, Arty Fufkin, Dretox, Aggro1, Sam Flanagan, Totom, locK3Down, and Pilchard. Can anyone recommend some other good albums?
I’m oooooooooold.
I only know Arty Fufkin from Polymer Records…
“Hi… Arty Fufkin, Polymer Records!”
But I’m sure it’s a different Arty Fufkin.

I recognize some words as English, but I have no idea what this is about.
And I’ve been drinking.
Gatopescado, it’s really just badly translated Chinese. Sorry.
I assume you’re familiar with Girl Talk? All of his albums have good moments, but Night Ripper is the masterpiece so far. Plus his live shows are insane.
I hadn’t heard of him, no. Thanks! I dig it muchly.
I actually don’t like mash-ups all that much, but I have one of Billy Squire’s ‘Stroke Me’ and ‘Magic Stick’ by 50 Cent and Lil’ Kim that is amazing. It’s by a random DJ though. I’d have to burn it for you.
There’s a pretty clever mashup of Green Day’s “Brain Stew” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You” that you can find on YouTube, video and all.
