Favorite Muppet?

How did I forget Statler and Waldorf? Oh…so many to choose from…I was a HUGE muppet fan as a kid. In fact, I very nearly bought a Muppet Show DVD at Best Buy today. Ah, memories.

I still get a chuckle thinking about Gonzo tooting his trumpet and exploding.

Cutterpin Doozer

Bert and Ernie.

Can’t decide between Bunsen and Gonzo

I’m a big Electric Mayhem fan.

My Favorite? It’s a toss-up between Floyd Pepper and Janice.

I was Floyd for a Muppet themed costume party once.

Animal.

Oh, Animal, definitely! (My favorite Animal moment–Rockin’ Robin. “Love to hear the robin go…” “TWEET, TWEET, TWEET!”)

Gotta be Gonzo. Especially in how they’d evolved the character for the movies lately. Gonzo is the adult-mind leader of the band.

Rizzo: “This is kind of scary. Shouuld we be worried for the kids?”
Gonzo: “Nah. It’s culture.”

Fozzy, Animal, Gonzo, Swedish Chef, Bunsen and Beaker.

Me me meeeep?

*BOOM

poor guy.

Scred, from Saturday Night Live. For a look at why, see the scripts for The Land of Gorch (warning: contains hot Muppet sex!).

Runner up is The Mighty Flavog, also of Gorch.

Of Muppets you’ve ever heard of, it’d be Gonzo.

Grover. He’s just so adorable and sweet. From The Muppet Show, my fav is Gonzo.

Bunsen and Beaker.

Sweetums aka Jack

“Jack not name, Jack job.”

Definitely Animal. He’s most inspiring.

Beaker. We ended up naming a Cockatoo after him.

Dr. Teeth

Rowlf. Never felt like he got the respect he deserved.

I never, ever had a love for Fozzie. Even at age 7 his comedy wasn’t appealing. I remember wanting to yell at the TV “You’re not funny, not at all!”

Kermit.

I always admired his relative composure in the midst of the backstage chaos that was the Muppet Show. I confess that I never really understood his interspecies romance with Miss Piggy though. I guess there’s no accounting for a frog in love.

Kermit. Kermit’s the Man. Or the Frog.

[Sam the Eagle]You are all WEIRDOS![/StE]

Actually, my favorite is a toss-up between Bunsen and the Chef

I’m a Kermit woman. Actually, one of the things that favorably impressed me about DangerDad was that he does a great Kermit impression. He does Grover/Yoda and some others too, but Kermit’s the hardest.

The little bandito lobsters are my favorite.
