Nah, man, nah. This is Beaker’s best viral outing.
When I was a kid, my favourite was Crazy Harry. I guess the idea of a deranged psychopath blowing things up at random appealed to me…
Nowadays, it’s Sam the Eagle. Wonderfully subversive.
Now I’m gonna be watching these all night… Here’s the Chef.
Statler and Waldorf. I wanna be like them when I grow up.
Janice. The only muppet toy I ever owned was a Janice action figure.
I love Rowlf, he looks like he would feel like my hair. Since I was small I related to that.
I also love Janice. I can dig her hippy vibe.
Another Beaker vote.
When I was 16 I had a t shirt with Animal on it…I had already been partying for about a year and the Animal shirt was always a hit, probably more than any other shirt that I’ve owned other than my Pink Floyd Darkside of the Moon shirt! So,my vote is for Animal.
I dated him once…
Hm, I don’t know if I can decide.
Beaker!
Waldorf and Statler, whom I consider to be “one”. After that, Beaker.
Glad to see Rowlf getting some respect!
Hey, that reminds me my favorite muppets were the Yip-Yips. But I’d just like to add, you worked on “Drawn Together”? I loved that show, I thought it was hilarious.
Okay, jumping on the Rowlf bandwagon. Gonzo rocks too. IMHO, Charlie from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is the harder-core, human version of Gonzo.
Kermit. What can I say? I go to 31 Flavors and ask for vanilla, too.
Sam the Eagle was Stephen Colbert before he was.
When I was a kid I was freaked out by the fact that the Swedish Chef has real hands.
Rowlf.
Anyone who can make a pun that bad work is tops in my book.
Since some people are cheating with Sesame Street characters I’m going with Oscar. Particularly in this nasty duet with Johnny Cash.
If it has to be Show Muppets then it’s probably the saxophone player, because when I was little my father played sax and had a moustache and glasses, so I was convinced the muppet was based on him and I would should “daddy” everytime he came on.
Love this Beaker one for the first audience reaction shot.
Otherwise, Lew Zealand is the one time I remember roaring with laughter at the Muppets (we watched them religiously in college). “Am I my brother’s kipper?”. No idea why that tickled me so much, but he’s had a soft spot in my heart ever since.
