What, no Cannonball Run?
Another vote for Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. I saw that one when it came out and I was totally blown away by the ending. 
All my favorites have already been mentioned, so I’ll toss out “Bonnie and Clyde”.
“Let’s get’em!” followed by, “I ain’t riskin’ MY life in Oklahoma!”
Or something like that. That scene always plays thru my head as I drive around my local areas (I live near the state lines) and wish they would turn around if they were chasing me and I managed to get across the line.
Does Duel count as a car chase (stretching it I know). If not, I gotta go with French Connection as well.
I agree with most of the one’s listed here that I’ve seen, although Bullitt’s scene is way overrated.

I have a soft spot for The Hunter. A bunch of it was filmed around where I grew up.
