The movie is from the late 60s early 70s. I only remember one scene:
A guy is chasing someone possibly in the desert Southwest. He’s on foot but comes across a used car lot. He runs up to the used car dealer and says, what’s the fastest car on the lot? The used car dealer says, Son, you wanna talk about fast! (cut to scene of mussel car flying down the highway running through the gears.)
I thought this was from “The Getaway” with McQueen & MacGraw but I just saw that one and that’s not it.
If ya know it please post it.
I’m envisioning a clam-shaped car now…
:smack:
Frankly Scallop, I don’t give a clam.
That’s such a classic moment, just after Scallop realizes she doesn’t really love Ashley Whelk.
And yet we know from history that Scallop won’t flounder. Adversity won’t turn her into a crab. She’ll salmon the energy from within, and be whistling a happy tuna in no time.
Don’t derail the thread like that. It’s shellfish.
There’s definitely something fishy about this thread.
Check out our mussel car. Single intake valves? Heck, no! It has bivalves!
Problem is you can only refuel at Shell.
Yes, but when you uses your credit carp at the pump, it only takes a few minnows.
could it be Two Lane Blacktop orWhite Sands? I kinda doubt it, but that’s all I got.
Just thought you’d throw those out for the halibut, hoping you’d hit the right answer by a fluke?
“As cod is my witness, I’ll never be hungry again!”
I was just fishing on IMDB, but I’ll clam up now.
I hightly trout that.
I got nothing
Fast? You oughta see that escargot.
Steve McQueen… could it have been Bullit?
I know its not “Two Lane Blacktop” and I dont think its “Bullit”
Thanks for trying.

Could the movie be Vanishing Point?
