Green Day’s “Time of Your Life.”
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
I think it’s brilliant!
I’ve always been a big fan of this from One by U2:
Have you come here for forgiveness
Have you come to raise the dead

Mine are from Crash Test Dummies.
The first is from “I’m outlived by that thing?”
He is talking about how he threw away an old paperwight and it’s probably sitting in a landfill somewhere and it’ll probably still be there after he’s dead and then he says:
“Ha-ha, I’m outlived by that thing and stupid things like that.”
Lots of times I’ll see something kind of dumb, especially a building or car, and think of the above line.
And from the same album from the song, “All of this ugly”
The chorus is:
“And if I try hard I think that I will see
Some good behind all of this ugly.”
Thinking about that has helped me out in some rough patches.

That’s a pretty good album. Despite some success with “Dreidel,” most people seem to have overlooked it.
