When I finally screwed up enough courage to “delurk”, yours was one of the first questions that caught my eye.
Dang. This is like grading folks on class participation. It’s so hard to limit favorites (oxymoron? multiple favorite?) that the quiet ones get overlooked.
I can’t believe how rich the community is, and as Diane (or Ayesha? sorry–tired) pointed out, it takes ALL the voices. F’rinstance, thoughtful Heath here, and sweet Eden, and funky Ukelele and majestic Stoidela and oh hell, you get what I mean.

I’m new, but a read the posts almost every day. Not all of them (who has the time?) but the ones that I find interesting.
I can’t say that I really dislike anyone here. Some posters are deep thinkers, like Polycarp, some are witty, like Sealemon, some write with clarity and style, like TVeblen, and some are poignant and funny, like KelliBelli.
Some are also silly, and there’s even a few with a mean streak.
But if everyone agreed, I wouldn’t bother coming around any more. That probably goes for most of the board.

I miss Papabear.
But I’ve always got maximum enjoyment from C#3, David B, and pld.
Some I missed the last time around, for various reasons and in no particular order: E1skeptic, Ukulele Ike, Byzantine, pldennison, funneefarmer and C#3.
And last but not least: Flora McFlimsey. Other than the fact that I simply LOVE her handle, I have nothing to add to Uke’s hommage: it reflects my sentiments exactly.
