Favorite themes from movie soundtracks

Which are your favorite themes from movie soundtracks? Please feel free to list your top 5. Mine are :
Theme from Top Gun
Theme from Mission Impossible (the one by Adam Clayton and Larry Mulen Jr.)
Theme from Indiana Jones
Theme from Rainman
Theme from Terminator

My favorite one of all thime is the Theme from Arthur.

Uh, you mean the one by Lalo Schifrin that they covered, right? And what exactly is the “Theme” to Top Gun and Rain Man? They both have tons of songs as well as original scores. Which ones are you referring to?

I guess I’ll go:

Theme from The Rock
Theme from Last of the Mohicans
Theme from Gladiator
Theme from Crimson Tide
Imperial Theme from Empire Strike Back

Archiveguy Yes I was referrin to the theme which was covered by Adam Clayton and Larry Mulen Jr. and was again covered/modified by Limp Bizkit for the second part of the movie.
And by “theme” I was referring to the main music played in the movie(usually during the climax and other important scenes) and not the songs from the soundtrack.

The Top Gun theme song is that guitar solo, I think it’s by Harold Faltermeyer.

One of my favorites is that Russian song at the beginning of The Hunt for Red October.

Ill go with…

Terminator 1 & 2 - Brad Fiedel
Beetlejuice - Danny Elfman

Theme from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

Oh somewhere deep, inside of these bones…

Dragonheart. Sentimental, yes, but so dreamy…

If you want to get all sentimental, then you might want to kick it “Legend of Bagger Vance” style.

I’ve always liked the theme from the Adams Family.
