Favorite TV cartoon theme music-The '60s

Watch out for that tree!

I saw it.

One of my most stand-out memories as a 5 y.o. in '69 was bouncing off the walls to the theme song (and cray credits) for The Mighty Heroes.
Even by then it was already syndicated - ran for just one season in '66.
Early Ralph Bakshi confection.

That BIRDMAN! call at the end of the intro just kills me. It’s so hokey.

That’s true, but I also started in the 50’s also.

+1 - for both the theme and the catchphrase.

One I can’t believe no one has posted yet:

And the Yogi Bear theme:

The Jetsons theme and opening, with the starfield and the slow pull-in towards Earth, with the picture shattering to the "Daa Dat Da-DAAAH!

It’s always been my fondest hope that if they ever made a live-action Jetsons film, the trailer would be that opening recreated, the same way they did for The Flintstones.

You all have taken the best ones so Im left with

I recently found the “underscore” from the Flintstones. This is absolutely the soundtrack of my childhood.

ETA: They don’t write 'em like that anymore.

Jonny Quest is my favorite.

but, I have a question about Tennessee Tuxedo. I remember a theme with (some of) the lyrics thus:

T-T-T
Tennessee Tuxedo
(some more lyrics)
He will be
parachuting for your pleasure
sailing seas in search of treasure
anything so he can measure
Up to men
That’s Tennessee Tuxedo
A small pen-guin
Who tries but can’t succeed-o

Now I remember this vividly, but the DVDs I rented had a different theme song, and I have been unable to find what I remember.

Does anyone else remember this, and know where I can find it?

I thought it was:
Come on and See T T
Tennessee Tuxedo
See T T
Tennessee Tuxedo
He will be …

Sounds like “See, see, see Tennessee Tuxedo” to me:

THE MIGHTY HEROES. just the fact that Ralph Bakshi was involved in a Saturday morning cartoon tickles me to this day.

Man does that bring back some memories. Good call.

One thing that wouldn’t fly (so to speak) today that Henry Cabot Henhouse III drank his “super-sauce” out of a martini glass in order to turn into Super-Chicken.

Right you are, Chumley!
(In joke for fans of TT, such as 1981 eleven year old me.)

I also heard “See, see, see”

Excellent! Thank you for finding that.

And I hear See see see now. Must have been our cheap TV when I was a kid. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

I barely remember watching Tobor the 8th Man

The Marvel Superheroes show had several catchy opening tunes, but the one for Iron Man was always my favorite:

Here’s mine. Originally from 1969, so that counts as 60s.
