My favorite color is orange, especially tangerine-orange. I don’t know what it means, but I do know that it’s hard to find clothing in that color. I had to have my orange prom dress made for me in high school. Also, I’ve always wanted to paint my bedroom that color, but I’m afraid it might be overpowering.
I’m a big fan of dark grey myself.
I do believe there was a whole pop-psych theory based on ranking what colors you liked to determine your personality characteristics. I read a book on it and tried it, it was slightly less accurate than my astrological profile. I forget the actual name of this method…though I do recall that it sounded german.
It depends; are you wearing it, driving it, or decorating with it?
Decorating? One of my favourite themes is oak, forest green and brass.
Vehicles? dark champagne, medium red, and then, for my MG, Vermillion (it actually looks like a mellow orange).
Clothing? Blues, greens and khakis. Occasionally something bright to liven things up.
I’ve always liked red and black. No particular reason. I wear mostly black and blue, since I’m lazy and don’t have any inclination to color co-ordinate and red looks bad on me. I’ve got a rather pale complexion.
My favorite “in general” color is gray; any shade of gray. Don’t know what that signifies, if anything, but it always appears serene to me. Cloud gray, silver, dark gray; all of 'em.
For clothing, gray (natch), black, that spiffy darkish clear royal blue, and dark garnet red. I have a lot of taupe and khaki stuff, mainly because they’re neutral enough to coordinate w/ those colors. I’ve grown to like the dark red mainly because it looks good on me: fair skin, dark eyes and hair. A pale blush pink looks really good on me, too, but it still isn’t one of my favorites. I buy it only if the cut and style are very tailored and unfussy.
I have no idea what any of this might signify, other than a stodgy approach to colors.

My favorite color is blue, and it shows because I have quite a few things that are blue - a lot of my clothes have a blue element to them. Plus, I have always liked blue for ages.
For clothing, my fav colors lie in the purple/violet/raspberry pink family, along with electric blue. What does it mean? Basically that I’m not shy. No one can ignore you when you are wearing fuschia or electric blue!
In my home decor, however, I prefer cooler colors - celadon greens, french blues, dusty roses.

I tend to gravitate towards blacks and browns…aaaaaand I just realized that’s going to surprise nobody.

The OP mentioned clear as a color. I can understand that. There’s certainly beauty in a well-made clear glass vase or candlestick that goes deeper than its form. It’s hard to explain but there’s something about the depth of the clearness appeals to me.
