But, in all seriousness (and it’s hard to keep a straight face when discussing this particular topic), how can a room of any sort be damaged by draining the pool? One would think that the drained water would be diverted away from any buildings.
Yes, that’s cool and all. But Trump, as of early June 2023, hasn’t been charged with jack fucking shit, never mind a trial.
We agreed that whomever guesses closest to the actual date will be the “winner.” So as long as an indictment falls from Wednesday on, I’m guaranteed to win. (It’s just a goof bet.)
Careful, that’s one of those bets that can really gum you in the end.
It seems to me if it’s Tuesday at noon you tie.
I would happily endure a bum gumming to lose this bet.

I don’t quite understand the reasoning, but it’s not unheard of to have the pool equipment in your basement. Come to think of it, it’s an expensive resort. It probably has an indoor pool with indoor equipment.

Gotta disagree. His most ardent supporters simply don’t care. He is their guy and they will simply say “look what they made him do”.
I think you’re right. A thought exercise: is there anything he could say that would drive them away? I think maybe it’s like that old “could Superman rip off his own head?” debate. We’ll never know.
If that really worked, I would see that as a challenge.
