FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

There are cover sheets on all highly classified documents. That’s all the agents need to see.

What prevents him from just throwing away the cover pages?

I believe there are headers and footers on each page, stating the document’s status.

Wait…you mean that guy who claims that the National Archives are a client of his that I was arguing with on Twitter- who said Trump could declassify everything, and that the Archives were lying when they said that Obama didn’t take 33 million documents with him, because he totally did - is lying to me?

how 'bout italian?

Why did the trump-appointed judge give him until Friday to produce a better argument to have a special master go over the documents? I thought she wasn’t even the one overseeing this case, though I might be confused about that.

that was one of the issues the judge had with the petition. why did they bring it to her? basically she asked them to spell out what they want and why are they asking her.

it falls in with trump thinking that any judge he appoints is his and will give him what he wants because he gave them the jobl.

I don’t know, how 'bout it? Does the name work in Italian?

yes. don’t know if there are grammar issues. i’m figuring ms post was thinking spanish over italian as florida has a spanish history.

Google says Sea to Lake in Italian is Da mare a lago.

Or dal mare al lago. Mar-a-Lago is not Spanish, but it is even less Italian. Even if “Sea to Lake” is perfectly good English (which I never disputed, gee, it is probably the bestest English ever) it is not a translation from Spanish or Italian.
Now can we go back to our dreams of tanTrump in handcuffs?

Wouldn’t work. They’d slip over his tiny hands.

Can’t we keep this professional?

I’m still interested in the Macron document mentioned. Why him? And could Trump have already mailed out documents to allies? It’s not as if he cares about security, after all.

Trump is freaking out on Truth Social. A link to a tweet follows, the tweet containing screenshots of his TS posts.

I find the end of the third one particularly interesting as he appears to switch to present, even future tense. Sounds like he got some sort of notification or something:

Lol, GMTA and all:

Really? Trump has been already proven to be the Saudi family’s lapdog. It was his first presidential trip, he praised their handling of Qatar, he sold them weapons that Obama had stopped, he praised they’re crackdown on dissidents, he’s stood by them in their war on Yemen going so far as to block a UN resolution, he sent them nuclear technology, and he let their murder of a journalist go unpunished. He’s been in their pocket for decades.

And it pays off. They stay at his shitty hotels, golf at his shitty golf courses, send him LIV money, and they gave his shitty son in law billions of dollars in loans even though it was a horrible investment.

Trump’s been a Saudi lackey for a long, long time, and nothing is going to change now.

[/hijack] I remember just after the 2016 election, the Chicago Tribune printed an opinion piece titled something like “I’m a female Muslim immigrant, and I voted for Trump”. The jist of the piece was that the Clinton family was shown to have tight ties to the family Saud, and a Hillary victory would mean more of the same whitewashing of Saudi atrocities.

She obviously overlooked Trump’s real estate deals in Saudi Arabia and his monetary ties to the House Saud. [/hijack]

I posted this earlier in this thread, and am still insanely curious about it…

The Receipt For Property unsealed today contains:

Description of Item(s):
1 - Executive Grant of Clemency re: Roger Jason Stone, Jr.
1A - Info re: President of France
2 …

It’s the only instance of number, numberA in the list. Are these things related? How?

That’s what I’m saying. I don’t believe Saudi is spending money with Trump because of things he’s done for them in the past. I think they’re doing those things because of things Trump is giving them in the present and possible future.

Trump loves dictators - especially dictators who have free reign to do whatever they want to do and have plenty of discretionary money. In addition to Bin Salmon, we have Putin and even possibly Kim Jong Un. All of them would benefit with Trump back in the white house.

Trump wants power above all else and is desperate to get back into the white house. My guess as to what’s going on is that he’s trading secrets to dictators to get them to rig the coming elections. Maybe with hackers, maybe other means. He’s may be using secrets to buy blackmail material. He may also be providing information to countries negotiating with the US to give them an edge over Biden so Biden looks weak in comparison.

I just wonder if he had some meetings with Saudi leaders at his golf tournament pertaining to election tampering (most likely) that the FBI got wind of and stepped in to catch him in the act. Possibly they wanted some specific piece of information that the FBI then caught at Mar a Lago before it could be delivered. That’s of course pure speculation - but I don’t think it’s all that far fetched based on what we know about Trump.

I just don’t get it. Why on earth did they think releasing that letter would help? It just shows that the Archives have been very methodical in trying to retrieve the documents, for months now, and the possible criminal charges that could result. This wasn’t a sudden raid without any reason; it occurred after a lengthy attempt at document retrieval had failed.
