Fear Itself 7/3

A rookie cop must look after a serial killer known as…The Eater!

Yum yum.

Worse yet, the cop’s wife asked him to pick up some fava beans and chianti.

Lecter quotes abounded in this ep., which by the way was quite intense and gory. The rookie’s last-gasp effort was, shall we say, very effective.

Please, sir, may I have a link to what the Hell you’re talking about? Is it a tv show or something? (I could look it up, but you felt like starting a thread, so I’ll leave it up to you.)

A horror anthology show on NBC on Thursday nights at 8PM Central. It’s been hit and miss this season.

Ma’am, actually.

It comes on at 10pm my time, but anyway…I think they’re just running it for the summer but I could be wrong.

Last night’s cannibalistic serial killer episode was a poor one. Very little originality and a stupid stupid ending.

Why sure; here you go: “Fear Itself” on NBC.

I had no idea a network was trying an anthology show again. Thanks for the heads-up. I see they have some episodes viewable on the site; I’ll check it out.

Okay, just watched “Eater”. That was pretty stupid. Are the other episodes any better? (And no mention of Ed Gein?)

No.

The best episode so far (although I didn’t see the previous week’s yet)…which isn’t really saying that much unfortunately. I do like that they at least referenced that they knew about the Silence of the Lambs character…although it was strangely inconsistent between the rookie cop being gothy and into horror, and her being creeped out by everything.
