Fecal matter loses!!!

Maybe he’ll start a church. If he does, I just hope he moves his flock to Jonestown.

Maybe he’ll start out by comforting the daughter that was clutching her doll and sobbing throughout his speech.

He can go back home to Virginia, for one thing, and finally sell that facade of a domicile in Penn Hills.

Oh, hell no, you’re not dumping that frothy mix on us.

What, and stop getting the Penn Hills taxpayers to pay for his kids’ homeschool setup?

Who had Piscopo working for them?

You have a point. We don’t want to accumulate a critical mass of disaffected, ousted Republican senators roaming the wilds of suburban Virginia. I mean, you get Macacallen and Santorum within 100 yards of each other and the Sanctimonions will fly between them and irradiate everything in Loudon County with self-pity and pious indignation.

But, he’s just a private citizen now isn’t he? The taxpayers can tell him to go to hell since he’s not in the Senate anymore, right?

Well I mean, when he gives up the office.

And why?

It as a nose-holding moment to vote for Casey, Jr. but he was the lesser of two evils. After one term, he should be easier to unseat than the entrenched VA who claims to be PA senator would be after another go around.

After the half-assed excuse of a concession speech he made, I’ve got this in reply: Fuck you Ricky, the horse you rode in on, and your kid’s dolly. PA and Penn Hills don’t want you. Move to the land of Dickhead and crown yourself king.

His considerable free time.

Casey licked Santorum.

There was an op-ed piece about Santorum in the NYTimes a few weeks back. They were praising his positions on world wide poverty, among other things. If nothing else, it showed that things are never as black and white as some people think when they get too focused on single issues.

Well, I guess it depends on who wrote it. Given a number of things I read, I think it showed that some conservatives were making a last ditch effort to try to save their number three guy. The little fucker who writes unfailingly hard-right conservative pieces for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Jack Kelly, wrote a piece essentially saying, “Yeah, throw the bums out, but please, please, please spare Rick Santorum! Remember, he was very concerned about world wide poverty.”

Bullshit.

I am delighted that Harris was roundly trounced but the last time I bothered to check, she had something like 38% of the total votes. That number almost turned me to stone—I hope the final tally was in negative numbers. I also hope that her promised “tell-all” book sales are equal to her IQ, which has to be about 0.05.

Oh, I forgot. Don’t kid yourself that Santorum faced such bitter feelings on the part of voters because of a “single issue.” Even in Pennsylvania, homophobia wouldn’t earn such wrath. He was a leader of the K Street Project, had suspect sources for his huge Virginia house, shaky dealings with the money from his charity, regressive opinions about families and women’s roles, ripped off a local school district for a few thousand dollars, and, oh yeah, didn’t even reside in Pennsylvania.

As for world poverty, the only thing I ever heard from him remotely related to “world poverty” was some idea a while ago about how kids with money could invest it and get some sort of tax break. Yeah, that’s the problem we’re facing: the wealthy don’t have enough means by which to invest and avoid paying taxes. If he was concerned about world poverty, I can only imagine that it must have been something about how do we keep things that way.

That depends on just what all she tells about the 2000 election. If she’s sufficiently offended by the GOP and Dubya keeping her at arm’s length, the book might actually be interesting… :dubious:

And he had his hand in the culture of fat-and-happy petty corruption (e.g. the attempt to give AccuWeather a monopoly on data already bought and paid for by the taxpayers).

Damn, with him gone is Dan Savage going to start to answer kinky sex questions again>
