I’ve spent the day planning my 1930s dinner menu - and when I told my friend at work about it - she thought it was as cool as I did. It’s fun to share with people who can geek out with you 
I walked across the street from my home to my job, with my husband/co-worker, at noon per usual Life is good.
It’s almost here! It’s almost here!
I made a dang good ham and potato soup today. I shall be “appreciated” for it later this evening. 
I bought three Lean Cuisine Sesame Ginger Noodles frozen entrees that are being discontinued - 64 cents each!
Made it through another week. Still standing.
Deposited the check from my dad’s estate, so in 7 days I will be able to pay off the house, so mrAru and I will own it outright.
I finished a box of Frosted Mini Wheats, so I got that awesome bowl that’s half-filled with extra-sweet shredded wheat crumbs. Mmmm…
(Makes me wonder why I don’t just crush the whole box up when i first get it…but that would make the end less special)
Green beans.
Seriously.
I was going to buy two twelve-packs of mini Cadbury Eggs. My sister convinced me I would be wasting $6 so I put them back. Later on, as I was buying fruit, I saw a big bin of green beans. Since I had put the candy back, I had enough money for 1-1/2 lbs. of green beans. I LOVE green beans. Fresh, crunchy, green goodness. Yum. So much better than Cadbury Eggs.
Today was my last day of classes. After exams, I’ll have 4 and a half months of vacation!
The assistant principle brought free Mexican food for all the teachers today.
I had a great day. I was showing my art at a local gift shop and sold several paintings, for good profits. Yay!
I was kissed multiple times by a very attractive girl.
Granted, they were on the cheek, she’s European, and that’s how she says goodbye to people; but a man can dream, right?
I saw someone reference Jonathan Coulton. changes iTunes to “The Future Soon”
Conversation I just had with a three year old
Me: Hey, little person. What’s the good word?
Child looks at me.
Me: Did anything good happen today?
Her: Yes.
Me: What?
She thinks a minute. “Everything!”
I found an Italian coldcut sub for my friend’s dinner tonight… reduced to $3.49!
I also got a package of tasty meat ends for $1.77!
The CR-recommended HDTV I’ve been considering just came on sale for $200 off! I finally get to enter the 21st century (video-wise)!
