Joy and Catalina are gorgeous. I’m starting to have a problem with gorgeous people in some settings.
Does anyone else look at them with disbelief at the character they’re playing? Because someone who looks that good could not possibly do or be what they’re doing and being?
I want more ordinary looking people on TV, dammit, and My Name Is Earl would have been a good place to start.
I want to be put on Earl’s list now. I want him to show up at my house and fix me up with an antenna that can pull in a few more stations so I can have something else on. On second thought, scratch
I haven’t used “other means”, but just by watching a few other shows on NBC I think I’ve already seen six episodes. And I enjoyed none of them.
Sorry for not being optimistic, but I find nothing appealing about this show at all. And the constant promos just piss me off.
Side note - single camera, on film or DV, is almost always better generally. Somehow it seems to indicate more of an effort.
