Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin indicted in Ivy League bribery scheme

Yes, she got off easy–which probably most of here predicted.

Anyone have a guess as to how much time she and her husband will actually serve? Half of their sentences?

The good news is that COVID is rampant in jails and prisons, so they’ve got that to look forward to.

Somehow, I’m not sure exactly why, but I’m not sure that I believe that this was the actual sequence of events. In fact I suspect that her moral compass says “tilt.”

I expect all of it, unless a their attorney convinces the judge that COVID-19 is too much of a risk and so they should be put on house arrest. IMS, there is no parole in the federal system and what little time off one can get for good behavior only comes into effect for sentences greater than (not equal to) one year.

So they should have to do their full terms, barring COVID. Now if they had been convicted in state court, I’d expect half or less.
