Before I do anything else, I’d like to thank the admins and mods for granting their permission to post this.
Last year, my sister was diagnosed with stage IV colo-rectal cancer. She has had to undergo surgery and chemo, all without insurance. As you can imagine, expenses have mounted quite rapidly. She and her husband have a young family (four children, aged from 2 to 14), and the youngest has had medical issues that they’ve been dealing with, as well. (Before anyone asks, things were better financially when they had these kids, OK? The housing crisis directly affected BIL’s job.) Now, on top of the obvious emotional roller coaster they ride daily, they are up against the wall.
To help them out, a friend of the family is hosting a benefit. This very generous lady is a Pampered Chef sales rep and from now until January 29 will donate 100% of her commissions from an online party to Sis and family. She has agreed to allow me to post this here, and I am asking for help from you, fellow Dopers. I cannot express how much it would mean to us all.

From there, click “shop online.” If that does not take you directly to the benefit page, you will have to enter my sister’s name* into the provided fields and that will give you a link to it. From there, any purchase will apply to this fundraiser and again ALL profits will go to the family.
*I’m going to put that in this spoiler box, as I will be away from home and unable to respond to PM’s.
When you click the “shop online” button, if it doesn’t go straight to the benefit, there will be two info fields. One for first name, the other for last. Then a page with a link that says

will appear. Clicking that link will take you to the page to shop from.

Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back. I was finally able to get in contact with the lady running the benefit, but then the search feature locked up on me and I couldn’t find the thread.
Unfortunately, I was unable to arrange the Paypal account. She isn’t set up for it and I have no website of my own. I wish I could have, but I do deeply appreciate the offer of direct donations.
Also, she can’t ship to Canada, only to US sites and military addresses. I’m not sure I understand the setup, but it has something to do with PC not being a worldwide corporation, but individual franchises, and Canada has their own branch of Pampered Chef.
