I remember seeing a woman ice skating in the 1990’s. She was, I think, Eastern European. The judges were talking about her as if she was towards the end of her career. (though that’s still pretty young, for an ice skater.)
I’m 75% sure it was the Olympics. I distinctly remember that she did a routine which involved **taking off a short bolero-type jacket, and draping it over one of the judges’ heads. ** She was wearing some kind of bustier underneath, an explosive departure from decorous ice skating convention at the time.
I would swear she also skated to a Yo Yo Ma solo cello piece. Googling Yo Yo Ma/ ice skating/ Olympics, etc. brings up all the wrong stuff. Am I suffering from haphazard right-brain memory processing or what?
