"Find the word on the web" game

If this is an old idea, forgive me. I just had the thought that we could have a little challenge type thing where we all keep an eye out for the first article or post we run across that contains a new “mystery word” that we then post or link to as a solution for that particular challenge.

To start the ball rolling, I’m flipping open my Collegiate Dictionary to a random page and pointing at random to

Be the first to locate that word in an article or post and copy/paste (or provide a link to) that post or article and you get to come up with the next word to be found by the rest of us.

If there’s already such a game thread you could point to it/them as well. I didn’t bother to check on whether this is a new idea or not.

It is a cliché to say that adulthood is “about making choices,” but it is not an overstatement to say that one of the most significant independent choices a young boy makes is whom he will emulate. “The iron law of propinquity” certainly plays a role in informing this choice. A boy may wish to emulate the owner of the Grand Budapest Hotel, but he will find it difficult to do so if he is not a lobby boy. Male models thus usually must be selected from the available stock. That stock, however, is often more voluminous and rich than the media, with its fixation on the “father crisis,” suggest.
