Yesterday I posted about my inability to log onto my d-link router with my Imac G5. Research while waiting for a response revealed that the d-link routers have a hard time with computer names over 20 characters. When I changed the computer name on the imac it has been working flawlessly. My daughter has a dell laptop running Windows XP Pro. It keeps getting dropped from the network, and I have a feeling that it is the computer name. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to find it or change it. Can someone help?
