Finding Nemo: Go see it. Now.

I finally saw this on Sunday, with my husband and 9-year-old daughter. My daughter scares very very easily and this is the first full-length movie she had wanted to try to sit through in the theater. (Yes, at her age I know that’s odd.)

Anyway, we all loved it. We were all laughing at the right parts and getting concerned in the right parts, and I agree that Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres were wonderful.

I don’t see many movies so I’ve only seen one other Pixar which was Monster’s Inc (which I went to see with a college-age friend and no kids). I guess I liked that slightly better overall but I found Finding Nemo much more touching.

My husband teased me for ages about seeing something animated that actually wasn’t from Japan… but I definitely agree with all the posters who loved it.

I loved the seagulls, and I loved Dory speaking whale, absolutely hilarious

Seen it, ooh, 4 times now, not bored of it yet

As comparison to other Pixar’s I’d put it above Toy Story (I honestly don’t like that film all that much) but maybe slightly below Monsters Inc and Toy Story 2. Maybe…

Saw it yesterday with my SO, who is a kid at heart.

What? That went right by me and I didn’t even notice. I wonder what else did that.
