Finding Nemo pet peeve (pointless nickpicking)

Yet, everyone else in the film ( I think) has aussie accents. Except Gil (american) and star fish (bought on Ebay) and the cleaner shrimp, who is french. Blow, I can’t remember, but that is ok, since the fish tank is the melting pot of fish life. Nigel the Pelican and Bruce the shark have aussie accents. I think everyone else does.

But, why wouldn’t Pixar give the title characters accents of their origin area?

Well Buzz was made in Taiwan and Woody was made in Korea, but neither of them spoke thier native tongues or had Asian accents.

I reasoned that he must have been confining himself to mammals, dolphins, sea lions, the odd surfer. I figured they only just don’t eat fish because they are fish.

I’ve heard that Pixar wont leave Disney because Disney owns the rights to their earlier works and has threatened to make cheap straight to video sequels of Toy Story if they leave. However Pixar will probably negotiate a more friendly arrangement. Maybe even get to have their name first.

Who said they were vegetarians? They try not to eat fish but I bet they’d go after a human if they had a chance.
