How do I translate URLs from the old UBB board to the new one? I tried just transposing the thread ID number with no luck. I came across a document with a bunch of old threads that I was saving and want to look at them. Sorry if this has been covered before, but the board is dreadfully slow for me right now and the search engine won’t give me anything.
An example of an URL I am looking for:

I don’t know if there’s a cross-reference around somewhere or not. I expect not, but if there is, you’ll probably have to try to talk Jerry Davis into giving you a copy. However, if you know the thread titles and want to post them (or e-mail), I can try to locate some of them for you.

Unfortunately there is no way to translate from the old UBB threads to the new vBulletin threads. Threads were not converted in any consistent manner so I can’t provide you with a formula to compute vBulletin thread Y given UBB thread X. It was certainly one of the things I wanted in the conversion from one message board product to another but it was not to be. We had to leave it behind in order to move forward.

Jerry, that’s too bad. Oh well, the new board has been, on the whole, great, so I guess I can’t complain.
