She was pretty alert at about 4:30 this morning. We had a nice chat, then I got ready and went to work from the hospital. We don’t don’t know when she’ll be discharged today-I hope I can be there for it.
Well it’s been 4 weeks since my surgery still in a bit of pain and I tire real easily. I went from a 46 E to a 46 C, they look real good and perky :D, didn’t know I could be this perky at 54. Next week I start on 6 1/2 weeks of radiation, then in mid Sept. I start an anti-estrogen therapy which will last 5 years.
Czarcasm and I have to put of going to San Diego for our anniversary, since it falls during my radiation therapy. We are looking at doing a weekend trip instead since we can do that in between my radiation sessions (Mon.-Fri.).
Remember to apply high SPF sunblock to the irradiated area, forever. My gf keeps forgetting and I keep reminding.
Rahne, glad you are feeling optimistic about it! And maybe the anti-estrogen therapy won’t be much worse than menopause would be anyway.
And hell yeah, go to Leavenworth!! Fingers still crossed for you for strength!
(Too many !!!s, sigh)
If there’s one thing hospitals hate, it’s patients trying to get some sleep. Good luck trying to get more than an hour or 3 all in a row.
:smack:
It looks like we’re taking a weekender to Leavenworth August 3rd-5th. Found a lovely bed-and-breakfast that serves a three course breakfast.
