I’m not sure which forum this should go in, so I stuck it here anyway.

My thumb and 2nd and little fingers are single loops. My index and 3rd fingers are whorls. My mum has all loops while my dad has whorls on his thumb and little finger and single loops on his other fingers.

I always though that this was a weird combination. Anyone else have weird combination finger prints? And why is it that all my fingerprints aren’t the same?

I have never heard that the loop, whorl, or arch patterns were consistent even on the hands of individuals (I have loops, whorls, and one arch, myself.)
