I thought much the same as you do, enipla, until I got to know him better. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, you won’t have that chance. Possibly your loss (mind, I do wish he’d calmed down) – but definitely, our gain.
You folk know him from 2 days of posting. I’ve known him from over a year on two boards. I’ll be glad to see him back there.

Just seconding what Ice Wolf said. I own a message board where finn is a member in good standing.
My first interaction with finn was to think he was a tiresome arsehole and to engage him in a massive flame war. Now he’s one of my favourite folks in the world of message boards. Not trying to convince you all otherwise necessarily - he screwed up here and was banned. I guess that was inevitable.
A square peg in a round hole is all, I guess. Happens sometimes. He’s a genuinely nice bloke though.

I have no beef with the SDMB staff over this at all. He didn’t behave, he didn’t listen, and he held onto that chip I referred to earlier, Contrapuntal.
Fact of the matter is – he didn’t and couldn’t fit in around here in two days. Elsewhere, he’s doin’ just fine.
