Fire all phasers and photon torpedoes!

Ah, yes. B5, the Young and the Restless of the Sci-Fi community.

I can’t make a religion of watching weekly to keep up with the ever-changing storyline - I like episodic television, where the problem is introduced and resolved with the limits of one episode.

Simpler stories? Probably, but better suited to my lifestyle.

I haven’t seen that much of B5, but the writing and acting didn’t seem all that superior to me. And with DS9, I’ve seen more bad episodes than I have with TNG, and I’ve seen a lot more TNG. Although I will admit that DS9 had a much better first season.

Farscape, folks, I’m telling you…

Esprix

But what of my wresting idea? It will make millions I tell ya…

Gay sci-fi geek mud-wrestling? Why does that sound like it needs the phrase “…on the next Jerry Springer.” attached :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, I was challenged to a mud wrestling match by a gay sci-fi geek - we were arguing over the same year to bid for the annual queer sci-fi convention, Gaylaxicon. Now that’s geeky!

Esprix

Actually, Esprix, I got ya’ beat for gay geekiness. I attended the first ever YAOI-con in San Francisco in August 2001 to discuss, view, and read “homoerotic Japanese animation and comic books.”

I’m amazed at what you can get on Japanese television. You can’t even get a gay kiss on American television half the time. In Japan, Boku no Sexual Harassment, which is basically gay soft-core except it’s not all that soft.

Can’t we all just agree thata Babylon 5 was the best sci-fi show ever?

Can I have permission to quietly die of lust over here in the corner?

Permission granted.

I will do the same right next to you.

Hey, now, only a moron would call Star Wars “science fiction”. It’s space opera, dammit. Learn the difference.

Yes what an idiot, I bet he didn’t attend school. Star wars is a space opera (wich sometimes it is also called crap).

For the love of all that is holy and my libido, where in the name of my sweet Aunt Virginia are the lesbian geeks?

ARRGH!
