And now they have a new product to promote- Bourbon Briquettes.

Beam sells their own brand of egg nog come Xmas-time; goes real good with their bourbon (Hint, hint!).

I don’t think the price of the regular Beam will be impacted, but they could use this fire as an excuse to bump the price of Knob Creek up a few cents.
Ironically Jack Daniels burns wood and then pours the booze through the charcoal to help get their flavor. Maybe they can use some of the burned wood from Jim Beam. 
OMG, you looking to start a feud, or something? There are so many stipulations on whiskey and bourbon and where it’s made and how/where it’s aged and God knows what else–some Federally mandated–that I would rather argue how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. We’ll just pretend you didn’t say that, if it’s alright with you.
BTW, Jack Daniels also chars the insides of its barrels which contributes to the taste. Somehow. Has to do with “breathing.”

I’m a dunce: when I mentioned Beam and eggnog earlier, I meant Southern Comfort (and eggnog). For Xmas. Yummy!

ETA: Get this: the SC website calls itself whiskey, while Wikipedia says it’s a whiskey-flavored liqueur. I’m not getting in the middle of this.
