Or “Firefrog”. Statler and Waldorf with hands of blue! James Hance - Relentlessly Cheerful Art.
Check out his prints, there’s a lot of funny mashup art, especially with Star Wars and Doctor Who.
I like “The Meep” and “The Dark Starry Knight”.

“Meep” is pretty darned great. If I had money to blow, I’d get Meep. And vote for him in '12.
Doozers Raising the Flag. WANT!
Fly Millenium. Also want.
Take my love, take my land, take me where it’s not easy being green …
Morena didn’t like her representative.
It’s of mixed quality. Kermit as Mal and Miss Piggy as Inara are logical enough, and Beaker as Simon and Sam as Book work surprisingly well, but at first glance, I thought Fozzie was Wash, until I noticed the hat and that his chicken was Vera-- Fozzie as Jayne just doesn’t work at all.
And then you’ve got the minor characters shown larger than the Serenity crew. I guess Bunsen is Niska? And who’s the big guy in back? And I don’t recognize the Muppet nor the Firefly character for the bug up in the corner.
His blog says it’s a work in progress, and explains some of the characters. Apparently that’s Jubal Early/Pepe in the top left corner. I don’t remember the muppet Pepe, but apparently he’s Pepe the King Prawn. Sweetums is supposed to represent the reavers.
I can’t believe Baccarin isn’t flattered to be Miss Piggy.
I like most of the Muppet ones, but the Fraggle ones all suck.
Pulp Chaplin really tickled me, but IIRC that scene is actually in Resevoir Dogs.
Miss Piggy as Companion is the most inevitable correspondence here.
Fozzie as Jayne could be fine–this is the Muppet version, after all, and a relentlessly cheerful one at that–but any time an artist has to label a prop, that signals a weakness.
“I’ll take ‘Sentences never before constructed in the English language’ for $100 please, Alex.”
Ah, Pepe, that explains why I didn’t recognize him. He originated with the short-lived Muppets Tonight show.
And I should have remembered Sweetums’ name.
I’m surprised she’s willing to publicly say she isn’t flattered. I’d be scared to annoy Miss Piggy like that.
those were my favorites too. I almost bought prints. but I would never get around to hanging them and decided against.
Gonzo as Badger.
Fozzie should probably have been Wash personality-wise, but physically he IS a bear, after all.
Gonzo isn’t all that big. The big guy is Sweetums, and he’s a reaver.
I read that as “the big guy in bLack” and in the picture, Gonzo is pretty big.
Firefly with The Muppets
…thought this was going to be a Farscape thread.
Bad Woozle! :D:D
