Background: I use the Firefox browser exclusively on three computers: my desktop at home, my desktop at work, and my laptop. The former is running WinXP Pro, the latter are running W2K Pro. All are at the same version of Firefox (1.0.2), and all are using Tabbrowser Extensions (TBE) at version 1.14.
Problem: In the past few days, Javascript stopped working on my office desktop. I went to the MozillaZine forums, and the best anyone can come up with is that v1.14 of TBE “breaks” Firefox’s ability to run Javascript. However, I only notice the Javascript problem on one computer – the laptop and home desktop let me click away, happily opening pop-ups to my heart’s content (and I tried rebooting the office desktop). Still, I’m willing to revert to v1.13 of TBE on the office desktop just in case … I just don’t know how. I posted my question in the aforementioned forum, but no one has answered me yet.
Questions:[ul][li]Does anyone know what’s really causing these Javascript issues?[/li][li]What steps do I need to follow to revert back to v1.13 of TBE?[/li][li]Is there anything else I should try specific to the desktop with the Javascript issues?[/li][/ul]
