When opening Firefox I get several messages saying that Chrome Registration Failed.
I’ve tried removing ad-ons, with no success.
Any Ideas?
I thought Chrome was the name of a browser. I don’t see why FireFox would attempt to register it. Is it possible your ‘Home Page’ is set to a page that downloads Chrome?
Note: I actually don’t know what I am talking about, but it can’t hurt to check.
While Chrome is indeed a browser (Chromium), “Chrome” refers to something completely different in Firefox; it’s a framework that Firefox uses in rendering its user interface.
Here’s a Mozilla page discussing the problem you’re describing (not sure if you’d seen it yet). I’ve never encountered this problem before, but hopefully this page will help.
