My computer crashed, and in an effort to clean out malware and registry errors, didn’t hit Session Restore, and lost a $h!tload of links.
Is there a way to go to history and restore a session from…yesterday?

Try that, but, in my experience, it often doesn’t work unless you use it the session after the crash.
All is not lost if this is the case, however. You can just go through the page history and find your old pages. Sure, you won’t be able to see things you’d typed but not sent in, but that often doesn’t work after a session restore, either.
BTW, there’s no reason you couldn’t have done a session restore during what you were doing. Only one page would have actually started loading, and you could stop it before it loaded enough for there to be any real risk. Then just shut down firefox, and the original Session Restore would have worked.
