Restore session disabled?

Lately, as I run an antimalware program on my computer…necessitating shutting down Firefox…relaunching Firefox dosen’t allow me to Restore Previous Session: neither a splash page tor choosing restore session from History on the Menu.

What can I do?

Do you have Options
General
Startup

When Firefox Starts
Show Your Home Page
Show a Blank Page
Show Your Windows and Tabs from Last Time

Do you have the last option selected?

You didn’t specify the “antimalware program on my computer”, but often they include clearing out temporary files, etc. And that might include the place where Firefox stores the info used to restore your sessions.

I have the opposite problem. I have the option “show blank page” selected and it still restores prevous pages. And yes, I am running Firefox.

The reason I have that is that most often when I shut down the computer without first shutting down the browser, it’s because something is bogging down the computer and preventing me from doing anything. So I don’t want the previous session restored because there’s a chance it’ll start up the same problem program.

Anyway, maybe the programmer got the options wrong within the browser and you should try the “show blank page” option. I should also switch mine and see if that works.

Firefox

SpyHunter

And I didn’t quite have this problem before.

I tried what PastTense advised and checked an unchecked box regarding restore session…will see when the time comes.
