I’m thinking of seeing one of those midnight screenings of The Room, the film made in 2003 and legendary.
I heard you are supposed to dress up funny somehow to them.
What is the dress code?
Rocky Horror lingerie is probably not it, right?

I didn’t realize there was a dress code for it, but if you were allowed to drink during the movie every time someone in it says “Hi!”, you would be drunk very quickly.
My only thought would be a tux and carrying a football. Or maybe a red dress. I can’t think of anything else distinctive off the top of my head.
I don’t think “The Room” showings have a dress code, but I’m pretty sure they have a minimum BAC…the recommended amount is 0.06%.
No dress code required that I know of. Some people do dress up kinda funny, either like one of the characters or just… funny for funny’s sake.
Bring plastic spoons.
And, since I almost never get to tell it, my The Room viewing story. A few years ago, my girlfriend at the time was close friends with one of the actresses in that movie. A big group of us went to the 5 year anniversary (the actress disguised so people wouldn’t recognize her–which didn’t work). When her character appeared on screen, the guy sitting right next to me, who was not part of our group, and did not know she was sitting three seats away, shouts “Why does the only hot chick not get naked?!”
