My choices:
Bear Grills of Man Vs Wild and be with him for one of the episodes in my choice location.
Usain Bolt - have a 100m race with him and note the margin of loss.
Sachin Tendulker - He’s rated as the best batsman (in cricket) of his generation. speaks well and is nice a human being. He made debut in 1989 and has been main stay of Indian team for so long. My generation has grown up watching and admiring him.
Arun Jaitley - one of my favorite politicians. also a lawyer. Speaks very well on important issues.
Virat Kohli - Fav. cricketer at the moment, seems like a fun person to hang out with.
I’d pay a huge amount of money (if I had it. Which I don’t) to have dinner with David Attenborough (who indirectly turned me into a biologist) and Stephen Fry. I’d have to think about the other three, but they’d probably be British comedians.
So, still good with Stephen Fry.
Let’s add Terry Pratchett, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner and, um…David Bowie to the mix.
Bah, scratch Jeremy Renner, and put in Geddy Lee.
Aroldis Chapman - I just want to see if I can hit that fastball.
Bill Simmons (The Sports Guy) - I’d love to watch a Red Sox game with him and some friends.
Conan O’Brien - I bet he’d be hilarious at family game night. My family doesn’t do a family game night, but if we did, Conan would have an open invitation.
Barry Weiss - I’ve been on a Storage Wars kick lately and going to an auction with him and the others on that show would be quite a trip.
George R.R. Martin - Better get the rest of the story before it’s too late.
I guarantee in 5 minutes I would come up with 5 new names.
I’ll have James Earl Jones and Frank Oz on speakerphone in another room, so it’ll feel like they’re communicating with us using the Force.
But I’d never even bring up, or mention Star Wars at all. If they mention it, I’ll just look a little confused. Then I’d just look Ford right in the eye and say, “Man, you were great in the Mosquito Coast.”
**Ed Viesturs **- American mountain climber. I enjoy his books and he’s a really nice guy. He has some amazing stories.
Todd Howard - Developer of Fallout 3 and Skyrim. I’d love to hear his 10 year vision for videogames.
Terry Gross - I bet she has some great stories from all of her NPR interviews.
Craig Ferguson and Natalie Portman - I’d just like to sit in the other guest chair while Mr. Ferguson charms Mrs. Portman. Craig is a pilot and I’d like to hear more about that, especially some of the nice planes he owns. I don’t know what I’d say to Mrs. Portman after “you’re such a super lady!”
