Phew. Finally caught up on this show. Just in time for the season finale.
Me too. Just one more episode of Arrow to get caught up on that too. I think I’m enjoying Flash a bit more than Arrow right now. But, everyone walking into the cortex is just like Smallville with everyone walking into other people’s places constantly. No door locks or security whatever.
And guys, please stop having conversations about Wells inside Starlabs when you don’t know if he’s just around the corner. Well, I guess we don’t have to worry about that now.
Poor Eddie.
Does Captain Cold really emit a cold field or something? I thought he just had a gun Cisco could replicate at any time.
What was the Green Lantern reference? I think I missed it.
I like Iris well enough. I was afraid she’d be a whiny Thea character but for the most part she’s not, except for the whole “if you love me tell me everything” stuff. I completely agree with her being pissed at everyone deciding to protect her without telling her. I’d be pissed too.
As Barry explained, the abandoned airfield they were using belonged to Ferris Air, which shut down after their test pilot went missing a year ago.
Okay, thanks. I heard that and figured it must be meaningful then forgot about it.
Personally, I hope they don’t bring the Green Lantern into this series. A galactic police force run by the Guardians of Oa would throw way, way too big of a monkey wrench into the drama.
They’re bringing a Time [del]Lord[/del] Master into the Flash/Arrow universe next year. Things are bound to get crazy.
Yeah they’re going for the big time travel arc next season with the new show. Should be a fun ride. A little Doctor Who, a little Star Trek temporal agent. Heck, don’t let Captain Jack get his hands on a time travel device. ![]()
With Wells, whose fortune I assume was paying for the Thai and enchiladas, gone, how are they going to pay for all that food?
Why would they need all that food now?
Who’s paying Caitlin and Cisco’s salaries? I suppose Ray Palmer could buy the place and put them on the payroll.
It’s a shame the real Harrison Wells couldn’t come back. Comic book logic maybe, but I can’t see a way for it to happen. Unless via Time Travel, or they somehow eject Eobard Thawne from the body. But it’s not really Wells’s body.
Urgh.
Maybe they can make money the Men in Black-way.
If Barry goes back in time and stops Eobard from killing his mother, there’s a very good chance that Eobard would then not be able to go on to kill Mr. & Mrs. Wells, leaving them alive a different future.
Seriously. Cisco should be a trillionaire by now.
How do you think the company named Cisco Systems got its start?
Re: resurrecting the original Wells:
The Wells character is so valuable to Barry because he has future knowledge. If they comic book the original back to life, he will in no way be as valuable a member of the team. If he even cares to support the team in the first place - Thawn/Wells is only helping Barry develop because he needs him for some reason.
Barry’s going to have to recapture all the villains. Unless, there’s service to the Arrow’s island, they’re going to have hold them again.
I’m going to ignore how little sense everything that happened in this episode made and try to enjoy it anyways. Eddie, baller as fuck until the end.
I’m a bit annoyed that Barry didn’t use his other source of future knowledge - Gideon, the AI, who has to be more trustworthy than Wells.
However, when the helmet of Jay Garrick appeared I was delighted.
I just have to say though that putting the entire city/planet/universe at risk for entirely selfish reasons is sorta what a supervillain would be doing.
