I’m sure there are others but I can’t remember them all right now.

Why, oh why, does Donna Jean get so maligned. She was the only member of the Dead that really could sing for Christ’s sake (OK, certainly not always in key on the stage, but in the studio she was in her element - you don’t get to sing backup on “When A Man Loves A Woman,” “Suspicious Minds,” Boz Scaggs first album, and tons of other Muscle Shoals sessions by not being able to sing).

Add “Running on Empty” to the flawless list. I’ve played it from start to finish damn near a million times and it just gets better and better.
