I just wanted to say; flirting sure can be exhilirating, when it’s experienced mutually.
Is this just boasting based on recent events? In which case, we demand details, of course.
It’s the ‘mutual attraction’ part that’s the hardest to arrange…
Why? My OP was more about the general nature of flirting and how it can really feel exciting and exhilarating when it’s between two people who clearly are attracted to each other and the flirting steadily escalates. At that point, anything is possible. There is no reality yet.
It’s one of the things that is great about being single.
Plus, the sky is mostly blue when it’s sunny, and when grass gets too long you may have to mow it, depending on weather.
“At that point, anything is possible.”
Deeeep. Wow.
Why do you open anything of mine??? I don’t get it. I really don’t.
My point, if you’d bother reading this, in saying anything’s possible at that point, is that you don’t really know each other. You don’t know their “dirty laundry”, what they look like when they first get up in the morning, their annoying habits, etc. At that point, you can picture all sorts of possiblities. One night stand, fwb, girlfriend, someone you date for a while, future wife, etc.
I honestly have no idea why I wasted the time writing that.
Regardless of the smiley, Ambivalid, insults like that aren’t allowed in this forum. You should know this by now, so this is a warning.
I find this warning outrageous. I was not insulting Bob at all. It was a good-natured joke. A joke based on his comment of me “sitting in a tree”. Now how am I going to do that, in a wheelchair? That is all I meant, and I meant it in a humorous, non-offended way. I put the smiley face in there to show that no insult was intended, just in case my humor wasnt obvious. I really think this warning should be rescinded.
It is fun. That tension also when you’re not quite sure – is it flirting or just joking around – is also fun.
